have been speaking with csr for over an hr basic answer
the 5 badges collector badge cannot be issued IG
there is absolutely no way for a csr to rectify the problem (please unconfirm this as i dont believe them)
the devs are aware and tough luck we just have to wait for a fix which judging by pikey NSEL fix broke since CU months ago then i wouldnt hold any hope of this being any time soon lets face it jedi is its selling point not space so why bother as long as they are still gettin there money.

CSRs CAN issue badges in game, you don't even have to be logged in. Now, finding one who is willing is another story.

Standard response is currently "This is a known issue therefore we can't do anything about it. Kthkbye." Or something like that. Unfortunately, they only publish a couple of known issues they are working on in the knowledge base and while one of them happens to be the Y-8 mining mission, there is no mention of anything to do with badges.
