For the love of all that's holy, this is getting silly. We need our waypoints back, and we need them now.

Space is impossible to navigate without waypoints you can count on. I've lost all my favourite places, and I can't send helpful waypoints to new pilots to get them through the grind.

It's a known issue and it's happening on the ground, too, so I'd hope a fix will be coming shortly. Other than that, don't have any new information.

Even if they vanish, you can make new ones ... as a workaround, record favoriites in your /notepad and re-enter when needed.

You can also e-mail then to your self, and save you the hassle of having the type them in every time.

But this is really annoying. I hope they fix it soon.

also /findfriend doesnt seem to be working in space.

No,I for one cannot make new waypoints either... "You have too many waypoints stored, please delete some before making new ones" or something like that... hardly amusing when i dont have any waypoints at all.

oddly enough, i get this on Eclipse but my toon on Starsider does not have this problem.

oddly enough, i get this on Eclipse but my toon on Starsider does not have this problem.

Check your datapad count... its probably at 100%. The waypoints are still there, and taking up space, but you can't see them. You've been creating duplicates to get around, and your dpad is full.

Try shuttling around to different planets. About 10% of the time (for me), the waypoints work, and then you can delete some of the duplicates.

Thanks Tomo.

I know the data is still there, because they do appear every once in awhile (along with all the duplicates). Its really the existing waypoints and /findfriend that are the major pain; any new ones I've created get thrown into email as a backup.
