Thread: Help!!! I seem to be stuck(freelance)

i've looked over a bunch of the stickies and I can't seem to find much info on my problem.
I'm currently at 1100 corsec pilot. I can't seem to train any more boxes. The only option my trainer gives me is to run more missions saying I am not ready yet. But I have like 40k xp banked and only need 7k for each of the remaning lower tier boxes. On my alt I'm an imperial master pilot and don't recall running this many missions before it lets me train.
Did the number of missions change before you can train. i recall havin to run missions before the trainer would start to train you, buthe would train as soon as you ran ONE mission for him thengot the xp(other than tier3 which was all mission based).
Am I missing something or is it bugged and he's never gonna let me train?

All of the tier 1 boxes can be trained, but you'll have to perform all of the missions first. I know it alittle bothersome, but thats tier 1 for ya. Just keep doing the missions untill you're given the oppition to train and you'll be trained in the remaining boxes.

Do you have to run a bunch of mission in between each skill box? I thought you only ran mission before the first skill was trained? I've currently run about 3 of the missions and still no option(not the escort missions) to train.
I'm currently 1100 freelanceso I've already trained my first two boxes, and have enough xp to finish off the tier and be well on my way for the first tier2 box. I'll continue to run them but am a little concerned at how many missions I'm running without getting the option to train.

It was awhile ago, but if I remember right you have to finish with his missions then he'll finish training you on tier1. I recall being fully leveled in XP and needing to be trained, but all he would do is hand out missions saying I needed to do this for him first. {or something like that I don't recall the exact dialog}

he doesn't give me any specific info stating that I need to run missions for him, it's just the only option. However I've learned a bit more lol. Part of it is me just being stupid.
1. Theed trainer - won't talk to me
2. Bestine trainer - gives me the option to resign or stop talking nothing else
3. Coronet trainer - Gives me missions but no training.
I've been talking to the coronet trainer. I finally got frustrated and was going to resign, when it wouldn't let me manually resign it gave me the option to set a waypoint for my trainer. Apparently the Bestine trainer is my trainer, so I have been going to the wrong one. However he still doesn't give me any options for missions or training in any way.
Is it possible I should be on trainer #2 by now? I thought that only happened at diff tiers but it's been so long since I've messed with pilot I haven't a clue lol. Anyone know who the second trainer is, or how to find out who he is so I can test that theory?

You are CorSec, so your Tier 1 Trainer is the guy in the Guild Hall in Coronet City. Your Tier 2 Trainer is in the same building in the back room. Tier 3 is in the Cantina on Lok and Tier 4 is in the Tavern in the Dantooine Mining Outpost.
Gil Burton (the Mon Cal in the Bestine Hotel) is no one's Trainer. He is the Freelance recruitment officer who all Freelance Pilots (RSF, CorSec, SA) go to resign.
Now, to the point... What 'missions' is the Tier 1 Trainer giving you? Are they Quest missions or Duty missions?
You may have already, but try having multiple conversations and check out every option. If you are already 1100 and have exp, then he *should* train you the other 2 skills without a problem.

Well that explains why Gil wouldn't train me at least lol. They were duty missions I was getting, not quest missions. It is possible that I changed factions in between when I got 1100pilot(got that ages ago) and when I started to fly again(thus the reason I wasn't really 100% sure on which trainer I was using). If this is the case the factioned trainers might have simply stopped talking to me due to faction changes. I just don't know what was going on since I did the 1100 so long ago.
Anyways... I've since retired and started to train Corsec from coronet. I'm now 2323 pilot and moving right along. Thanks for all the suggestions and help guys.
