Thread: A macro to autopilot to a predesignated waypoint?

is this a possibility? i like being able to setup hyperspace jump points, but it would be nice to be able to just hit a key to take me to the nearest space station or wherever i may frequent...

I seen something in the FAQ once. It was an escape macro that had the destination names in it. I need to investigate into this as well. I always hyper to the same places. Those precious seconds choosing a destination could be used for blasting more ships out of space.

Example
/hyperspace space_corellia_3
So I guess Naboo would be like /hyperspace space_naboo_1 (number indicating which hyperspace point)

Try this for a handy escape macro:
/throttle 1.0;
/boosterOn;
/hyperspace space_dathomir_3;
Use whatever planet name you want to jump to. The sector numbers run 0-3 with 0 being the top sector and 3 being the bottom sector.
Not sure how to setup a macro to autopilot to your datapad waypoints though.

from the original pilots commands list, theres a command at the end called /waypointAutopilot, but I don't know if anyones got it to work yet.
I'd try :
/waypointAutopilot Name_of_Waypoint (typed exactly as named in your datapd)
or
/waypointAutopilot Space #, #, # (using the system name and co-ords i.e.: space_dantooine 1000, 5, 1000)
