ARC-170 is quite easy. Y-8 isn't too hard, but takes a while.

/question
The quests that get these ships, can they be done solo?
And, are they space, land or space/land quests?
Thanks!

The Y-8 quest is all space-based, but the others are mixed ground and space. For a few pointers on where to start, see my guide to the Clone Relics quests.

cryptic guides are fun and all, but I prefer a starting waypoint and then let the quest do the story telling.
Not saying its bad, I thought its pretty nicely written, just that its not the type of guide most are looking for.

Well, with any luck, it's the kind of guide they'll find. And by figuring things out on their own, they'll see how much more rewarding it is than pasting waypoints
.
Of course some people will still want the easy way out, and for that I'm sure walkthroughs will appear shortly. I just thought I'd encourage the explorer mentality which was supposed to be a hallmark of this game.

Actually, a lot of bugs relating to the RotW beta never got fixed, including the ARC. I'd love to confirm that the gun was, but as I have one on Ahazi (Might be the first possibly, not 100%) and cant unpack it due to a bug saying "You have not completed the Quest needed to use this ship", its hard to tell.
Flagged it as a bug..again and yes, this is with the character who completed the quest (how else would I have the deed otherwise hehe).
Suppose I'd better see if the Clone Armour is busted as well
Such a shame, but hey ho, maybe one day I'll get to fly it....but I'm not holding my breath.

Clone Armor works, as does the DC15 Carbine/Rifle quest.

Yep, I can confirm that, just bio-linked a set of the Clone armour and it equips fine. Haven't done the rifle yet so your way ahead of me there heh, nice one.
Just looks like its the ARC deed thats having a few issues ![]()

Cool screen shots! Thanks for posting these.
The first thing that I thought of when I saw the bugged floating gun is an old side-scrolling space shooter game. I remember playing it in the arcade, and I also had the NES version of it. Anyway, you had these outriders that followed you around and duplicated your weapon, so you'd have double-shot, triple-shot, etc. I'm totally blanking on the name of the game, though. R-Type? hmmm.... Oh, Gradius! That's it.
Heheh.... god bless Google...

(For those of you old-schooler's looking to take a trip down memory lane)
Okay... sorry for the thread hijack. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
