So, there I was in Kessel, killing off 30 Tie Fighters for Admiral Burke. Suddenly, the Star Ravager pops in. Oh, boy, I think, I can kill two birds with one stone. So, I eliminate the Vette's escorts. Knock off gun #5. But for the life of me, I can't get a decent hit on the shield generator. (Odd, because this is something I've done fairly regularly in my X-Wing. Well, maybe not regularly...only about 10 or 12 times.) So, I decide to hop out of Kessel to get some guided munitions to knock those buggers off and disable the Vette.
***MISSION FAILED***
***YOU HAVE ABANDONED YOUR MISSION***
That was a "whoops" moment... I checked my quest log and I only had 3 more fighters to kill to meet the quota. hehehe. Well, I did go back and kill the fighters. Now, my Dunelizard is loaded with Seismic Missiles.

Ouch, that had to have hurt. Things had been quiet on my server for about a week when I heard that a 'vette party was forming, so I jumped at the chance. We did well and the ship went down. Too bad I didn't have the mission.
The good news was that I had helped out other people enough that they stuck around for me when the new one spawned.

My funniest death to the 'Vette was a couple months ago... was helping a fellow faction member do their mission. All was going smoothly considering there was just two of us. I had come in on a strafing run for a couple of the turrets when I took a couple hard shots and ducked behind the Ravager's engines to regen my shields a little and do a /vrepair to get some systems back online. Well, my wingman was still holding his own just fine... until I shot out from behind the vette and was blown to kingdom come.
Lesson learned... never keep your dog in your lap (chihuahua) to where he can rollover in his sleep and hit the throttle to max leaving your ship flying a beeline into the Ravager's line of fire...

Not much of a difference really except a T/A requires more RE work to outfit, is slighly faster, and is more expensive to produce.
TIE-Adv:65k mass 80K resources [SP: 2 Guns] 1 missile
[Spdx 1.0 Acc 40 Dec 60 Pitch 300 Yaw 300 Roll 150]
Dunelizard: 85k mass, 15K resources [SP: 2 Guns] 1 missile
[Spdx 0.95 Acc 30 Dec 30 Pitch 300 Yaw 300 Roll 150]
