Thread: Firing weapons repeatedly

Hey I haven't been in space in a long time. It seems to me that I used to be able to hold down my fire button and my ship would repeatedly fire the weapons at its maximum fire rate. Now it seems I have to click the trigger everytime I want to shoot. Is this how it is now, or is there a setting I can switch to put it back to the way I reamember?

got to your keymapping options in the game. clear the binding of the weapons and rebind, that should bring them back.

i had the same problem and thats what i did.

you may have to try it twice for it to work.

Rebind from Fire Weapon1 to Fire Weapon Group1., same with other gun slots of more than 1. Use Weapon Group Distribution window to put the gun you want in the right group... and Fine.
