I hear of people making millions in space, other than loot chips and selling lots of components... i dont see how. And given my rate of creditaccumulation in space at about 60k an hour... I have to ask; how are people making money up there?

Depends on your level. Tier 4 duty missions were paying 10k per spawn wave i think, plus about 2k in credit chips and abbout 20k in loot. So figure 10 waves an hour is 320k an hour, at least.

actually.. i think it goes from 1k or 2k to 7k at the end of the tier4 duty missions with a 10k bonus for completing the entire mission.

and 1.2k for each commander group.

after a 90 minute duty mission at tier 4 i would normally be 250k richer if i sold all loot to the chassis vendor... but some people might have a friendly shipwright that they like to swamp with crap loot every once in a while so he can get firespray discs.. :/

Heh...shameless plug here.

I'm a shipwright on flurry and I buy un RE'd loot 10% above what the steenky chassie dealer gives. Level 10 stuff I buy for 11000 credits not that 500 credits that cheap cha$$e dealer gives ya...20% above for weapons and sheilds too.

heh heh, I had a guy who was buyin for twice the chassis dealer price, but the bugger hasnt signed on in weeks.

Ill tell yah what makes me a little mad about the tier4 missions is that if i do them its all pirates; no faction. But you have a point, the duty missions would payout better than just going to kessel, and the loot would probably be more abundant since you are constantly blasting stuff.

It depends on what Duty you take. Some are designed shortlike the one you mentioned (RSF black sun is a good example)

and some are long, where the final series pays 10.5k per wave (like the rebel black sun)
