was wondering if Tomo has this on our list of bugs or needs to fix.
Also was this disabled on purpose to prevent enemies from finding us or just a bug?

Anything yet??
This is a really annoying bug... I mean try having a guy come in for support if you have to re-giving your cords if the mission is moving... and if you are not already grouped its even harder to locate other people.... Plz Plz bring back /findfriend in space.

Yes, /findfriend is more essential in space than on the ground. Please fix it.

It's on the list. Only problem is we've got so many more bugs than most professions (if due only to the size of the pilot profession) it can sometimes be hard to balance the emphasis between them. I mentioned it a while ago, though, and I suppose it's time I start a new thread devoted to the subject over there.
This bug looks pretty straightforward, but can anyone provide any more information on it?

YEah. Someone mention before that if your on the ground you can do an FF and get the cords of the guy in space. Then when you get up there, its STILL there but you cant update it. And of course. It just doesnt do anything when you try it up there.

The devs at the Fan Fest space forum didn't even know what /findfriend was, or that it was broken... so I wouldn't expect much.

also, /findfriend will give you a location if your target is on the ground. but, in space, I can't see any reaction from the client at all. No error msg, no feedback of any kind..

Yeha Tomo, it was working for a while, until the CU came. Then it stopped working in space. Still works fine on the ground. Not sure what specifics can be added, it just stopped working

I agree this not working is really really upsetting. findfriend is vital in space.

Are you serious, Korren? OMG. They don't know their own game's features? That is very disheartening.
This bug got me killed on one occasion and a guildie died on another occassion, both our quests down the tubes, because we couldn't /findfriend each other as we once could.
This bug is EVIL!!! IMO this bug is pilot public enemy #1.
Please keep us updated TomoRainer.

There have always been a lot of stalking issues associated with FF, and I totally sympathize with that aspect, and I was largely against FF for a long time. However with JtL its nothing but useful, and is an invaluable timesaver. The fact that you can still locate someone from the ground in space, then launch and find them (idf they haven't gone too far), yet cannot locate them in space, is just silly. This is the one time and place where I encourage FF and I haven't been able to use it.
