i have 2 level 5 engines that i bought from a respectable shipwright, and wonder which is better for pve and doing pilot missions?
the ship im using it for is a tie/in and my highest componant use is lv 5-----
engine 1 -- top speed 86.6.....p/y/r is 56.6
engine 2 -- top speed 73.2..... p/y/r is 60.6
been using engine 2 so i can turn and get a bead on enemies faster but dont know if i might benefit from an engine switch to the faster top speed model. all other stats on mass, energy drain etc are about identical. i know i ought to just switch and try the other one, but i seem to waste a lot of time in space and want my journey to ace to be sometime in the near future. has anyone found one to be at more an advantage for my level of playing? im currently 2-2-2-2 imperial pilot and have been gettin smoked on this last series of missions required to train to get the next tier ship. thanks for any advice on this issue.....torcher

Higher PYR is usually better over top speed until you get a higher engine that has best of both.

yeah id go for the higher PYR - usually on pilot missions, you only really need top speed when you're flying several km to your next wp, and you can always use your booster then, or just wait the extra minute, not like you're in combat. PYR helps you avoid fire better and get a line on your targets faster, which is when time is more important.
