Get a high Mass Scyk. 96K mass and is a tier 1 ship Costs a lot due to the asteroid resources used, but if you can afford it, it beats any other ship available to you in terms of size and manouverability.

With that mass, you can fit anything in there that you need until you are needing to beat the vette.

It depends on who you are, but I used a Dunelizard all the way up to Tier Four, then I replaced it with the Actis Interceptor.

If I remember, my set up was:

  • A good RE on the Level 6 Reward Engine
  • Two Level 7 Blasters (at one time it was a .900 Ion and a .900 Disruptor) (Crafted)
  • Level 4 or 5 Capacitor RE.
  • Level 1 Droid Interface Pre-nerf.
  • Level 4 booster RE
  • Level 1 or 2 reactor RE.
  • Level 7 Shield (Crafted)

After that, whatever room left over was for Armor, Missles or Countermeasures. If I'm not mistaken, I never had both Countermeasures and Missles at the same time, and usually neither.

But with the ~85,000 mass in the Dunelizard, not to mention some of the best Speed and Manuverability in the Privateer's arsenal, it was my choice all the way up the tree.
