I heard you can get really close to ships that aren't agro in Kessel, and other places, and match speed, and they can't kill you. Is this true? If it is, how can I use this to my advantage? If not, what is the best way for me to get higher up in the pilot profession? Btw I'm Rebel Pilot

duty missions from your recruiter are the best bet...easiest...especially as a new pilot..
you wouldn't last long in kessel...don't even know if you could get in
