I went to a field recrutor, and asked to be removed from rebel combattant.
Then 5 min later, all my xp and JTL level went pouf.
I thought the 2 were separated?
I ticket it, but CSR Mariah told me it was intended.
Just to double check with the pilote community.
If it is normal, then I m gonna regrind lol.

you can be neutral and sign up for imperial or rebel pilot, however, if you were alligned with them on the ground and join up then drop it, you lose all progress

Ok then I delete my ticket
My bad not to have check before
In fact, I m not sure of your post, I was neutral and alliance first, then went rebel on the ground, and then droped rebel on the ground.
Is the action of droping rebel on the ground lead to drop alliance too ?

by picking up rebel on the ground it tied the two together, so the only way to drop rebel on the ground is to drop rebel in the air as well, however...
You can drop say Imperial Pilot and remain Imperial Colonel on the ground, I think they did it to try and balance somthing, or to make you re-think dropping a faction in the ground war. We all know they are trying to FORCE everyone to pick one side or the other, with no thought of the people who just want to RP what role they like, be it neutral, Imperial, or rebel.
The "Civvies" end up getting shafted in every way except that they can join anything in space.

Fine with that, but for what I have to do, I had to drop faction, so I would have done it anyway.
I was just surprised.
Thanks !

Actually, with the new GCW changes, you cannot be Neutral on the ground and Rebel in space. If you join the Rebel Navy, you immediately become a member of the Rebellion.
