I've been searching for this answer but haven't found it yet. Sorry if this is somewhere in the FAQ and I missed it.
I want to do all 9 squadrons, and I read here that you get a bonus for making Master once and then going for it again in a different squadron. Does this apply only if I change from one discipline to another? I mean if I got Master Imperial Pilot in one line, dropped it and went to another would the bonus apply, or do I need to go Freelance or Alliance Pilot to get that bonus?
Thanks for the help!

For some reason, hitting spacebar quickly activates submit post. Very annoying

Umm actually Washell...
He gets the x2 after the first mastery, and even if he goes up another squad in the same group, he'll have the x2. He just won't get a x3 after mastering that second one, if it's in the same faction that is.

There's the normal xp reward and there's the master pilot bonus. The master pilot bonus is granted fora single mastered squadron per faction. Very confusing stuff to put in words, the table below should clear things up much faster
Enemy worth 100xp:
Reward MP Bonus
No mastery 100xp 0xp
1 mastery 100xp100xp (1x)
2 masteries in same faction 100xp 100xp (1x)
2 masteries in 2 different factions 100xp 200xp (2x)
3 masteries in 2 different factions 100xp 200xp(2x)
3 masteries in 3 different factions 100xp 300xp(3x)
hehehehe.. well thats good info right there! Personally, I mastered Black Epsilon and Imperial Inquisition, and I am currently 4,3,3,3 Smugglers Alliance. So I fall into the two lines that I marked in Green. Hopefully by tonight I should be in the one I marked purple.
Personally my plan is to go back and finish the last Imperial Storm Squadron eventually (highlighted in Red), but honestly... after flying these nuetral ships I feel relly spoiled in the mass category. I'll never hit the 3x because.. well.. I'm a colonel sitting on 13k faction right now, would be such a waste of so much time to drop imperial. It will be tough though going back to TIE fighters being their mass is so low.

Ah I thought you were wrong as well, until you read it "straight across". Lmao. I'm a double master and the bonus was a real help the 2nd time around. I got bored with deep space and all for the 1st time (now I appreciate it more when I lost it) and am sticking with my 2nd ace for a while.
I might go for a 3rd imp ace (Black Epsilon) later on but for now I'm having too much fun pvping.
btw much love goes to Ocknot, Rykit, and Etoke (and to anyone else I misseD) who made/make it fun to pvp.

Depends on your point of view. If you count by total xp, you're right. If you view the Master Pilot bonus seperately, I'm right. We both mean the same thing and get the same amount of xp. Added plusses to my table to increase clarity.
