Anyone else think the new galaxy search is teh siht when it comes to lookin for RE weapons and stuff? I think a lot fewer good items are going to end up in the chassis dealer now...well, hopefully anyway

Even better for those grinding up pilot right now, as mid-tier RE stuff is a lot easier to find.

SWs, take all those crafted POSs off your vendors

btw, dont bother lookin on Lowca now but its also a treasure trove of pre-nerf DIs and the odd reward item

Yeah its great!

I recently went imp to get a lvl7 reward gun. I needed a low mass lvl 7 gun to RE with it. I have heard of them dropping at under 15k mass. A mate of mine, Parhee, looted one the other day.

Anyway I looked for one in the new galaxy search and found a 14.7k mass lvl7 gun. YAY!

I have about 40 lvl7 guns and the best I had was 16k.

I also picked up an A-wing with 65560 mass. Which is really difficult to find normally.

The only thing you need to worry about is checking the part has not already been RE'd before you go gallavanting off over half the galaxy to find it. Which is what I did with a lvl 8 shield. But never mind...

Great for chasis/components, terrible for munitions. I dare you to find crates of Mk. II spacebombs under Misc > Factory Crates.
