I finished Rebel pilot today.

I have since dropped Rebel pilot and resigned from the faction.

I became a freelance pilot and joined the Imperial faction on the ground.

I am currently doing the start of the freelance missions and I am only getting 100XP for my kills. This means I am still only getting 1x XP instead of 2x correct?

Have I done something wrong? Or in a different order? Could someone please advise?

So does this mean if you drop master pilot and go master up again you get 2x's the xp then 3x's and so on or am I miss understanding this?

You get a bonus for each separate pilot profession you master (Imperial, Freelance, Rebel), not just from individual squadrons.So if for example you ace Crimson Phoenix, Havoc, and Vortex, you would still only get the 1X bonus.
