I went to the privateer trainer and he said "you dont look like you have what it takes to be a pilot"

Does this mean i missed somethign? or that i need to register JtLS (i got it as part of the Rage of the Wookies preorder bundle, at least i thought i did.)

I was at the Mos Eisley trainer, does alignment have anything to do with it?

Yes, you need to register JTL.

Otherwise you can't become Pilot or Shipwright or play Sullustans or Ithorians

I think you'll get JTLS when Rage of the Wookies ships. When it does, you're getting one big honking patch. You just pre-ordered, you didn't actually buy it yet.
