Thread: Are there any other quests besides the factional ones?

You can take a mission at the space stations. They can be like some of the quests in the factions, but it's only a string of a few missions, that's the extent of "story" content past master, and you don't have to be a master pilot to complete them.The "reward" of completing them is landing rights at various POI's and/or the ability to getting full repairs instead of a 75% repair at the remote space stations

The Yavin station had a non-factional quest and you get to see a new ship 'geometry'...it's a cruiser of some kind that you wind up escorting. It was an easy mission for an ace pilot, though. :/ I was bored. 
Oh, and during the first part of the mission, I *THINK* you get to see the supposed mining ship that was mentioned a while back that we probably won't get now. It's the communication vessel. It looks very similar to the rendering of the proposed mining ship, but now they've gone and changed how we're going to do mining in space, I think.
