I thought this publish was meant to add an extra two turrets to the Y8? Stuffed if I can find 'em

Anyone know if we have to re-deed our Y8's to get them or not, or is it another bug?

Probably have to redeed for the changes to take effect.

I believe it was stated early on by Thunderheart... or maybe one of the Devs... that the old Y8's would infact have to be redeeded for the new changes to take effect.

They certainly can't code in a fix for every each, and individual Y8 that is already out there... but they can fix the code that generates and creates new Y8 vessels... therefore, redeed and there you go, a new Y8.

If it doesn't work, well then what do you expect... this is SOE after all...

No probs, I found them! If you Manage your Y8 you will find an extra two weapons slots. Add weapons to them and then take off. You'll get another two options when trying to enter the lower turret (Front Turret 1 and Front Turret 2).

They are two turrets side by side underneath the bridge.

Looks like they did manage to code for existing ships after all

Either that... or the code simply regenerates you a new Y8 upon loading it for the first time when you hit the Starship Terminals after the patch...

Either way, the end result is an extra two turrets without having to re-deed

Unfortunately, because of the new tinted windows on the bridge, I can only pilot my Y8 into planets! Maybe the new turrets were meant to let people in them be my guide dogs
