I've been searching for a guide on getting the quest ships and haven't been able to find one. As a freelance pilot my understanding is I can get the Vaksai and either the RGI or Heavy X but not both. Is that correct and if so does that mean I won't ever be able to get whichever one I don't choose?

you cannot get both heavy x and RGI, one or the other

you can get the Vak and one of the other 2

best way to explain it is to align yourself with the faction of the ship you want on the ground before starting the quest, you can prolly do it halfway through, but I am not sure about that

Only the ETA-2 and ARC-170 require the quest flag, all other RotW ships just require the 5 badges badge.
