Ive read the walkthroughs and i just cant seem to do this right 4 times now and ive failed horribly each time. Granted im a crappy pilot but im getting better i was just wondering if this mission can still be solo'd and also i read that ti stays on its course for 45 minutes all attempts seem to last about 15-20 for me perhaps cause i die and come back if there are any pilots out there on the wanderhome server please drop me a line ingame or mail id love to see this mission be done right.

This is just my opinion, but I think you should really keep trying at it solo. I know it can be frustrating, but really any pilot who wants to go foward with piloting should be able to solo the vette np. If you are planning on getting ace and then hanging up your wings then by all means get some help, but it sounds like you don't plan on that. Heres a couple tips....missiles use them for the shield generators....stay in the blind spots and you can lock and fire from there. just get to know the ship and its blind spots really...if you have done the heavy whatever factioned ship quest out of kashyyyk station theres a perfect chance to examine a vette up close(at least for rebels) without it firing. I used this mission to learn the layout of the vette and it helped a ton.

The OP is with SA, there's no problem there with inspecting the Corvette at close range. For that matter, ANYBODY cal get an up-close look at one, you just have to wait for the one that's on your own side...
