I've been grinding up an Inquisition Pilot on Kettemore this last week and I noticed something odd and highly annoying. I didn't get any of my tier 4 equipment rewards. I also didn't recieve any payment for the missions. They were pathetically easy but I didn't get anything for doing them. I know I recieved all my other rewards. I've been keeping track but I'm positive I didn't recieve any of the tier 4 rewards. Anyone else have this problem?

Ah congratulations, you bugged the mission! If you fly to fast through patrols youll get the "Mission Successful" message, but you wont recieve cash, or a reward part. Basically, the trainer will act as if you never did the mission. You can still master though, you just wont get your reward parts for tier 4

I suspect you were encountering the mission patrol bug.

Basically the mission wont advance properly if you zip through a patrol segment of it too fast. Since inquistion teir 4 STARTS with a patrol mission, your zipping through it at 1200 or so speed, and it doesnt advance properly. Subsequently you end up totally bypassing the teir 4 missioins if you keep doing this every time you train a teir 4 box.


Knowing this ahead of time, if you started this first mission and putted along at 500 speed, it will advance proplerly.

ON a side note, mission 4.1 gives you the bolt driver, so if thats all you really wanted, id wait tell your 3rd or 4th teir4 box before putting along at 500 speed.

Mission 4.2 gives you the L8 shield, and let me tell you, this is storm squadron in length. THREE back to back escort missions in one outting.

Actually I was only doing about 1090 or so but I suppose that's too fast as well. Who the heck flys a patrol at 500? I'm already 4444 I suppose I should have asked this when I noticed that the first one didn't drop a reward. The shield is the only thing I really feel I missed out on although the boltdriver would have been nice too.

Nah just a crafted Mark IV with EO3 in a TIE bomber. Pleanty enough for PvE. I don't know why people complain about the TIE bomber. I don't think it swims nearly as much as a B-wing. Perhaps a hair more than a Longprobe. It's a fine ship for PvE just like the longprobe but heavier. I guess people are just so spoiled by the relics they forget how to use things like throttles.

I had heard people talking about this bug but this is the first time I have encountered it and it was kinda in the back of my mind but apparantly I was in grind mode and not paying enough attention to it until I noticed I hadn't recieved any of my tier 4 rewards.
