Remove all parts and redeed ship. That's what they'll tell you to do and usually that fixes up any "not working" parts.

For two nights now, ever since Elaine was nice enough to make me a new, lighter one for my ship I have not been able to get my booster to work.
Ive tried 4 different boosters, ive remapped my keys, reset my keys to defaults, redeeded my ship. So far nothing seems to work and its getting a tad frustrating.
Has this happened to anyone? If so did it ever get fixed? How?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
EDIT: I forgot to add that almost everytime I land or do anything with a component on my ship my droid commands are suddenly forgotten from my flight computer. Its almost like they are unloaded everytime. Any ideas on this one too?

Sounds like you are bugged my friend, might want to submit a CSR ticket.

well, i think i can pinpoint the droid command problem. there seems to be a bug whenever you unload or load a booster, it makes your flight computer or astromech jump off the droid interface. about the booster not working, is it saying your booster is disabled when you try to use it, or is it saying nothing? if it says it's disabled you might try a different reactor to see if that's the problem. if it's not saying anything, you might try the command /togglebooster (i think that's the command) and see if that works.

Ill try that command tonight, but to answer your question, nothing is happening at all. Someone suggested that I wait for a server reset and see if that fixes the issue, and since there was a hotfix today hopefully that will take care of it, but ill still try the /command and see how it works. Thanks.

It is in fact boostertoggle. When I logged this evening my booster still wouldnt work, so I tried the boostertoggle and sure enough it fires off. So I made a simple macro /boostertoggle; and then remapped the key to the joystick button that normally runs my booster. While jury rigged the problem is officially worked around.
Thanks for the help folks.

Cool, LOTS of people had this problem a few weeks after JTL went live, possibly right after the first full publish after JTL. Technically this works exactly the same way as binding a button to "booster" so no need to keep trying to fix it unless you wanna rack your brain.

I had this happen to me as well, no matter what i did short of booster toggle worked. Till one day as mysteriously as the bug came it left and now my booster works fine.

I had this problem too. Booster just quit working. I was advised to power cycle my PC, turn it completly off and power it back on. For some reason, this fixed it for me. That was all I did.
