I've been helping a friend grind out Black Epsilon squad and we figured last night we'd grind out all the xp he needed to finish off Tier 4. He already had gotten the initiall 1 mil doing Tier 3 missions, so we went and trained Experimental Vessels and I loaded him out in one sweet little TIE/Adv.

We went out to Kashyyyk and ground out the full 3 mil for the other three boxes, figuring that would make it just missions left to run. He had gotten the initial mission from Insurgent, which is a patrol of Dantooine space.

So, I logged in this morning to finish up those missions for him and went through the first patrol, where you are looking for an Officer's ship to inspect. Went through all the waypoints (4 I think it is), got the mission successful message, then remembered I hadn't swung by the captain's ship to disable/inspect/dock. Went over, disabled him, inspected and it showed the right cargo, docked and transfered. No new mission like I was expecting. So, I headed back to Insurgent.

Lo and Behold, what did Insurgent say? blah blah "Job well done". Ok, little odd, but he let me train again, so I picked up Starship Component use. Then, get this, he gives me the exact same mission. Now it's getting very odd. So, to test it, I went out, did the full patrol, got the mission successful message, swung back by the captain's ship, did the same thing, headed back to Insurgent.

blah blah "Job well done". Lightbulb went off in my head then. Something's quite odd, since I can now train again. Picked up Elite TIE Guard training, got the exact same mission, and had to test it out. blah blah, same order on everything, back to Insurgent.

Job well done, here's your final box training. Oh yeah, and here's the mission yet again. This time, since I now had all 4 Tier 4 boxes full, I disabled/inspected/docked with the captain in the middle of the waypoint mission instead of after the mission successful message. Lo and behold, once I am nearing the final waypoint, the mission updates like it's supposed to, telling me it has found the captain and I am to head over and disable/inspect/dock with him. After that, the mission proceeds as it should, getting the info and heading over to a waypoint to hold it against a couple waves of fighters. Mission successful, head back to Insurgent.

Now, at this point, I was a little worried it was going to (a) bug or (b) go ahead and give me the other missions. Chatted with Insurgent and he gave me the reward blaster, then offered me a duty mission. I politely declined, then talked with him again. What's this? He's sending me off already. Headed over to Theed to chat with Declann and sure enough, ready for the master missions.

So, to make a long story short, only had to do one of the Tier 4 missions, only got the one reward, but got all 4 boxes trained. Total time invested: 45 minutes start to finish, including doing the mission.

it's been posted here a lot already. You flew the patrols too fast. Try flying them around 500-ish speed, and that should give the game time to trigger the different events that are supposed to happen during the patrol. For every squadron I do now, if I get a patrol mission, I always fly it around 500-550 speed, and I've yet to have a problem like this.

Well, the bug isn't so much flying them too quick. That much I know about.

It's the fact that to do all of Tier 4, I just had to finish one mission. Only one, and only got the one reward. Never had to do the other 3 missions.
