Heya all, was reading the forums a while back and I saw someone saying once the blacksun ace helmet decayed to 0, then it will turn to an armor piece which will effect my jedi abilities/defence.

Any truth?

Its a known issue with Rebel Ace Helmets and Nightsister Biceps. Probably follows suit that they would be affected.

Doesn't even have to decay to 0. As soon as it decays it gets requalified to armor.

I'm gonna take a wild stab and say, since it's a bug... the item only gets flagged as armor but has 0 stats.

I was laughing because I was explaining this to someone in game once and it took me a good 30min to explain that just because it was classed as amour, that didn't mean it would suddenly get stats. "Whattype of armour?" looked like it was going the same way.

the same thing happened to my privateer helmet ad jacket. I was wearing my privateer helmet last night while fighting gorax, and when i log on today it decayed all the way to 0 condition and now counts as a peice of armour. I know its not just from cloning decay because my jacket is at 97/100. anyone had nay luck with a csr fixing this yet? or am I just SOL

well i dont wear any armour when im fighting gorax or most other things that are melee. i use my specials and kite, i rely on not getting rather than tanking and healing. I only get a hit a couple times when im not careful or when i get too laggy. I was wearing my helmet because i think it looks kinds cool, even tho its really bulky and looks like i stole it from samus aramus
