I've been skimming enough of those threads to make my head spin, but I am still unsure of this...

If I, as a rebel ground, rebel pilot do the quest for the heavy X-wing, am I forever locked out of

getting the Vaksai or is there a way to do this?

I read that neutral pilots can get the Vaksai and a RGTor Heavy X wing, but are the other pilot

factions left with forever only getting the chance for one?

I know it is branched or whatnot, but I wish I'd known I could only get one of the badges/ships

if I started this as rebel instead of neutral pilot. Sure, I'd love to get all three, but I guess I can't

have it all.

Reb ground/neutral pilot: can get Heavy and Vaksai
Imp ground/neutral pilot: can get RGI and Vaksai
Reb ground/Reb pilot: can only get heavy
Imp ground/Imp pilot: can only get RGI

At the moment, you're locked out of doing the quest again for the other ships. It is possible to buy them of an other player, no badge required.

If you drop your pilot prof the space part of this quest gets reset while the ground part stays, that's why we're locked out. The question has been put to the devs whether the space part should stay or the ground part should also reset. No answer yet. Still, as a badge collector I do hope to be able to do the other 2 sometime in the future.

The reason you can get both is because reb/imp space station look at ground alignment instead of pilot prof, while kashyyyk station looks at pilot prof.
