Thread: Question: Gunboats and bugged Vette spawn

I know that by destroying the vette, without destroying the gunboat escorts, will cause the gunboats to float around at the exit spot -- bugging the spawn for others.
However, does anyone know if this bugs both the Star Ravager and the Corellian Corvette? Or does it just bug that specific spawn.
In other words, if some lazy reb/freelance pilots kill the Star Ravager and leave the gunboats behind, will this keep the Corellian Corvette from jumping into kessel? Or just more Star Ravager corvettes?
I can't seem to find this answer in the faq or any searches on the topic. I ask because I've read that people have spotted both corvettes in kessel at the same time. While I've never seen that happen personally, if that's so it would seem that the one corvette doesn't depend on the other having jumped out.
Specifically.. I'm sitting around in Kessel trying to finish my third ace. For the past three days, I've noticed Imperial gunboats left over from the Star Ravager, just hanging out at the exit point. As an Imperial Pilot, I can't do anything about it or clear them up.
Is this causing the Corellian Corvette from spawning? It certainly seems to be the case, although I've been unable to wait a full 1hr 45 minutes to be sure. Will I have to wait on someone to clear these up for me?

I dont know the answer to this question however I can honestly say i HAVE seen both vettes in kessel at the same time.

Ah, thanks a lot guys. I'll just keep waiting then, as there are no rebel gunboats stuck at the exit (or I would have cleared them up already)

The Imp vette and escort work properly. When the gunboats reatch the exit point without the vette they de spawn.

Not consistantly, I've seen the Imp gunboats up just as often as the rebel ones.

can anyone post the Exit WP of those Gunboats? i am trying to finish my privateer ACE mission and 3 hrs waiting but no IMP corvette.
i will try to clear the imp gunboats now, but any help on those Star ravage ENTRY and Exit WP would be greatly appreciated.

It's in the faq and a couple of guides, but since there are some differences, and one inaccurate entry point for the Corellian corvette, so i'll post mine:
Corellian Corvette start: 4870 -5056 -4765
Corellian Corvette exit: -7260 4873 6341
Star Ravager start: 7340, 7550, 6270
Star Ravager exit: -6231 -259 -6059
I also find it helpful to put a 0,0,0 waypoint in kessel.
And to update my original post: The imperial gunboats were still at the Star Ravager exit point when I left. However, the Corellian Corvette did spawn and I was able to finish my 3rd and final Imperial Pilot squadron.
Corellian Corvette start: 4870 -5056 -4765
Corellian Corvette exit: -7260 4873 6341
