Ok I know that currently the jedi starfighter is imp only but has anyone heard if it will be available for rebels, any links would be appreciated.

Some people said that a dev had said that there might be alternate paths in the future to obtain these fighters. Think that's as confirmed as it gets atm. It's much faster to find some smugglers and take a short trip to the dark side to obtain this.
