Thread: i need some tips for an insane mission
- make sure you're loaded up with the best components you can fit
- make sure you're using all the overload 3 commands and cap to shield shunt
- disable the last a-wing in each wave, then boost towards your target. You'll have about 20 secs till the awing self-destructs and spawns the next wave, which will buy you more time
I too was having a heck of a time with this mission.
Just as droid said... and a couple of other tips.
1. Get a Tie Fighter Heavy (95k mass)
2. Assuming you can make it through the initial waves of X-Wings, be prepared to do some defensive measures and never let the mass of A-Wings on your 6. The second to last escort will hyper out and you DO NOT have to kill all the A-Wings.
3. Do your best to stay away from pirates! If attacked try to disable them to keep more from spawning and engage them if they engage you before turning focus on A-Wings. Remember to keep an eye out for other pirates... I truly believe it is the random pirate spawns that make this thing tough.
4. Be prepared to hyper within the sector on certain stages... it will save your butt and keep the mission alive.
5. Try to get someone to help out, but it CAN be done solo.
Suggestion #1 was key for me completing it.
