You get to land directly in the retreat soon enough

When you get transfered there, you can just run the mission questsfrom the Naboo Spacestation and gain access to land at the Imperial Retreat first. Doing that actually spawns you within a couple meters of the 1st trainer. Ends up being faster than any other squadron I think. I am master im the In squadron, and I never drove to the Retreat to get a mission.
