Thread: where do black sun aces spawn?

That's a myth - the drop rate would be more uncommon hunting wild aces down than going after duties.

I have an alt that is a RSF pilot..Was doing duty missions to get last tier 4 box before master missions. My bud goes WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! in group chat and I was like eh? Only, one thing came to my mind when the action in space ceased and checked my inventory to find a Black Sun helmet 
I have on my other alt who is a Imp Ace and hunted at the ENdor static Black SUn spawn and never looted the helm, but I tell ya this..Duty missions will gt ya better chances (my opinion).

I've seen people posting here they looted from:
- RSF Tier 4 duty
- Havok Tier 4 duty
- Endor static spawn (Red Sin Chimeara, target nearest enemy)
- Kessel static spawn (Haven't found it yet)
- Various tier 3/4 missions amongst the squadrons
Conclusion: BS helmet can drop from any tier 4/5 black sun, no matter how it spawned.

I've looted all FOUR of my helmets from Duty missions. Happy?

not gonna do the duty missions cause i never hear of people looting the helmets from those, only from random spawns.

ah...well in that case can storm squadron ace pilot take the duties? the ones i see from my last trainer are all pirate oriented.

yeah i picked up the duty mission from the lok hotel and got on on the third kill from a tier 4 black sun...it doesnt have to be a black sun ace like some rumors seem to have it

I'm 4-4-3-3 Privateer Smuggler Alliance. I've gone to the guy in Theed, but all I get are Tier1 Black Sun duty missionsfrom him. Do I have to be RSF pilot to get the Tier 4 ones? Or do I need 4-4-4-4? Havoc wont talk to me either. Is there another place I can go to to get Tier 4 Black Sun missions?

Go to the Tier 4 RSF trainer - in the same building but much further back,oppositethe Librarians room.

the kessel spawn is in between the large blue and small white nebula about 2km from 0,0,0. you win a prize if you can figure out what makes them spawn there, if it's once per boot, dependant on # of people in the zone, or whatever.
