Yes, there are two there ... the one in the building in back (near the mission terms) is the Tier 3 trainer for Havok, the one in the building about 90 degrees counterclockwise from there is the Tier 2 trainer for Crimson Phoenix.

You can get duty missions from other trainers of the same tier from your faction (but other squadrons)... is there a list of trainer locations anywhere? This helps if you don't like the missions one gives, but still want to run duty missions.

Have posted in JTL forum as well so my apologies

I have completed all my teir 1 rebel training and was told to go to Yavin 4 and speak to Major Eker who was in the labour outpost, when i got there is was another squadron trainer who said go away... now i dont know where to go and i want to continue can anyone answer these questions:

1) Do i ahev to have the box for teir 2 (y wing certifcate) green before he appears

2) Have i just screwed up and gone to the wrong planet if so which planet should i be on?

It has been a long time since I did that tier set but if memory serves me right there are two reb trainers there you are just talkting to the wrong one. I think the one you want is in a building sitting behid a desk. But I am probable wrong.
