Ok, so the other night i finally made ace 
about damn time too, well the Jedi grind took up a lot of time (thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it)
about damn time too, well the Jedi grind took up a lot of time (thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it)i was 4444 (IMP - Black Epsilon) and a friendly Ace took me to kill a vette in deep space after i got the misson from the Imperial Admrial in Theed, anyway all is going along nicely, got the ace box, ace helm and jacket but no 'Epsilon Ace' badge. I figure 'yeah ok, makes sence' so i went back to the lvl4 misson giver on Dant to complete the missons and get awarded the 'Epsilon Ace' badge.
Here is where the problems started, he sent me out on a misson which i duly completed however when i got back to him i got the usual offer of duty missons as 'i need to learn more skills before next misson'
Well i can't gain anymore skills as i am an ace :/
Is this a known bug and is there a work around, or am i screwed?
I'd like to point out i tried reading the stickied threads and some others but couldn't seem to find an answer to this.

The ace badges are classified as profession badges (ctrl c). Profession badges are disabled if you're still able to respec.
You should get your badge when respec ends, but this doesn't work flawlessly.

nah not been able to respec for a good while now, although i still have that trusty token to get me out of the hell that will become -4-4LS / M Def / 41-- healer and 4--4 Enhancer over the next few weeks/months
Looks like i'll have to send in a ticket on this, not that they will help or grant the badge as they asy they can't add badges.... rigggghhhhtt
Damn it so close to 125 badges too

You won't get any badges until you use your respec token. Happend to a person in my guild. She made master pistoleer but didn't get the badge. Then she used her token to get rid of the uber annoying popup and she immediatly got the badge.
