Figured out how to beat the mission in Dathomir for the Imperial Inquisition that was giving me so much grief, so at 4-4-4-4 and before I visited the Admiral I decided to reward myself with a nice new red TIE Interceptor.

Took the missions from the Kashyyyk station, and when talking to the NPC on the ground I got a new blaster as a reward. Nice! At the end of the evening I was tossing it into the "things to be RE'd" pack in the house when I saw the reward bolt driver. I figured I would compare.

It looked to me like the two guns were made to be paired. The Bolt Driver has better armor and hit points, better damage both low and high. The new blaster has lower mass, and better stats in other areas. Most important it has a .6 damage mod against shields compared to the Bold Driver's .4 mod.

Now all I need to do is scrounge up 5 more L7 weapons (one with .6 against armor) and get it RE'd.

from what ive seen the ionic pulse weapon is about 3170 max vs the bolt driver at 2990.

i want one!! no... i want four!!
