Alright, this is how it works, I have the droid interface on my ship, and I have my droid command chips read to be installed into the droid interface, now my question is how exactly do I install the command chip into my droid interface (yes I looked in the stickys and did'nt find it ), any help would be apperciated

The chips go into the droid/flight computer not the droid interface. The droid interface is just the device that translates the information to your ship (like the computers at the repair shop that tell the mechanic what is wrong with your car).

Now you will have to excuse my stupidty, but it will only allow my power droid to go into the droid/flight computer for some reason or another - how to I put a chip into there (and if it helps any way, I fly a dunelizard)

Ready the flight computer into your datapad, bring up the radial menu on it. Wait until you get an option to "Program Computer" or something similar. Hit that, and you should have no problems.
