Sorry that didnt work,,, the only thing I can think of is that is actually someone else's mission and in that case although confirming the correct contents will not allow you to dock !

Then again,,, could be a bug

I am having the same prob. I do everything you are stating you are doing and I can not dock. I have ran the mission several times and for several hoursattempting everything to make it work, It has to be bugged.

solved the problem thanks to my friend sheercon, he told me to push ] or [ to target the reactor, then /dock after you get the message that the ship is disabled. you will see a little animation after typing /dock.

I'm having some trouble completing this mission and was looking for some help. I have found a Lieutenant (sp?) targeted his engine, and disabled it. I then inspect the ship where it tells me the quest item/info I need is on board, and to use the /dock command. Every time I type u, or /dock, it says the ship denies my request to board. I have also tried /transfer. is this mission permantly bugged??

Any time I have had to steal cargo, obviously the NPC Capitain aint gonna let you dock

so .... if you just pull up close next to the ship once you have disabled it ... your craft begins

the TAKING OVER process !!! I have used this in a few missions, unfortunately there

is very little on screen text to tell you whats going on ! Another area they could do with a little
