Hi.

Do you need to complete the actual mission in order to use this ship (with the proper Level 4 cert of coz)

OR

Can you just buy this ship from someone and fly it instantly without having to do the mission (which is currently disabled).

This is the one quest ship you can fly without having completed the quest for it. You just need to be 4xxx pilot.

However, I have heard something about its guns firing downward instead of forward. I haven't had one to see it myself, and that's something I could use some more information on, but it's a potential bug with the ship.

i bought one and as i wanted to deed it i got this message: "u do not have the badge necessaryto fly that ship"

can anyone help me what badge i need to be able to fly it? a friend has same ship bought from someone and can fly it :/

btw i am pilot 4-3-3-4

Huh.. it's possible that a badge requirement was added to this with the reintroduction of the Nekrosis quest. Though I'd find it quite exasperating that problems where badges are lacking are fixed before problems where people already have the badge but can't fly them are looked at, or problems where people can't even get their ships to begin with..

Anyway, anyone else running into this problem now?

Actually, I poked around a few more threads and found an answer. You just need any 5 badges to fly it.

I've done a lot of dogfighting on my Belbullab-22 and nevernoticed this issue. Only acquired it by killing Necrosis after pub 17 however, could be that post-patch ships do not have this problem.

We figured out the gun problem, too. Some loot guns with rendering problems will fire downwards rather than forwards. Thanks for the info though, always good to have more.
