Today, went out to the Ednor System spawn (ya know, the spawn) with a few nebie gunners so they could grind out some XP. Anyways, we were there for a while, and one had to log so I hopped into his turret for him. So we are frying enemies for a while, my other gunner caps XP. I try to get out of the turret- and nothign. Nothing happens.

I click the button, I try all sorts of commands, even disconnect a few times, btu I am still stuck in there. We keep fighting off wave after wave of enemies, and although we got a t on of loot, finally the server shuts down, ending my misery for now. But when I log back in, and I am still in that turret, there could be trouble. I am assuming I laned, but ya never know.
