I was so excited to make master last night the first thing I did was unpack my Y-8 and I have to say, I was very very disapointed. First off, you cant see anything from the pilot seat and in 3rd person view you cant see around the ship. Second, its got a bug that does not allow you to move anything up or down. Third I can break larger chunks off but then cant destroy the small ones. My shots after the pieces get small has no effect at all. Not to mention you have to take a crew along to use the tractor beam or defend your self. Over all the Y-8 was a fantastic ideabut was poorlyimplemented.

You are supposed to bring a crew to properly use that ship.
You are supposed to use the Tractor Beam in order to be effective in that ship.
You can use the Tractor Beam, I have been told, to tractor in the large Asteroid Chunks you first knock off of an asteroid. You don't have to break apart those asteroids into the smaller asteroid chunks.
It's a mining ship, not some warship designed for single player use.

If you were told that about large chunks, you were misinformed.
The mining ship is near impossible to use for mining, and it can't even be decorated properly at the moment.
Not to mention the cool mission bug that means mostpeoplecant get itat all right now.
