Thread: Jedi Starfighter and ARC 170

Will there be quests for the opposite faction sometime in the future?
Can you buy the ship and use it if you haven't done the quest?
My main worry is because of imbalance, not many people like the ARC 170 and I want a Jedi Starfighter.

I am a freelance pilot and I have done both quests and got both deeds. My jedi starfighter is awesome and im lovin it, even went reb to see if i can fly it and i can so cool, however my main problem is with the ARC 170. I completed the quest as a rebel combatant and got the system message on completeing phase 3 however It did not show up in my quest journal.
The queen gave me the deed , and now likes to chat it up like shes my friend. But now when I try to generate the ship It gives me the "you have not completed the quest to fly this ship" message. Even as rebel combatant, so im screwed pretty much. I cannot talk to the queen to say im busy with something else to restart the quest, because I only get the option to tell her how im doin and yada yada whatever comes after completeing the quest.
If anyone has any idea how i can get around this I'd really appreciate it, I've sent in tickets but with all the messages bout the skill spec liers I have little faith in them gettin around to me any time soon.
edit: forgot to mention I did go imperial ground forces on duty to do the jedi starfighter mission.

With the exception of mass and an extra gun, the starfighter is basically the A-Wing for imperials. I figured the ARC-170 would have been Rebel attainable as well, since it would finally grant them a version of the Aggressor. Is it not able to be flown by rebels?

Rebels can fly it, the problem is you get 1 turret per person. Carries 3 people and each one gets their own turret, which is kind of silly, especially for those who prefer flying alone.
Also, that extra 30k mass is an amazing amount over the A-Wing, I can barely get in a decent engine and decent weapons.
But anyway, IS IT TRADE-ABLE?

yes but the problem is you have to have done thequest to be able to fly them
