Hi, finally got my box for tier 3...wondering if someone can advise me on the diff pros/consof the tie bomber vs. tie interceptor...i'm prob gonna buy both, and get the best parts i can for each, but if this thead urges some good discussions, that'd be cool

All the bomber style ships are very slow but they have lots of extra mass to play with.

Bombers are great if you can handle how sluggish they are and make use of the mass, but you'll want 33xx before it's really worth the bother, I suspect. Even so, the agility of the Interceptor is certainly something you'll likely miss.

Well im a rebel here, but let me give you some advice anyway.

INTERCEPTOR.

I went from Xwing to Awing and hated it the first time, and then hated it even more in live! However take the nippier ship, stick a good engine in it (high speed, high PYR), dont get target fixated (ie take a couple of shiots then go for the guys behind you), juke a lot, and, by the time you master youll have evasive qualities thatll stand you in good stead in PvP. Of course you could just heavy TIE it and then get a JSF/BSF. But I wouldnt advise the cheaters route as it will degrade your skills so much you will be rubbish in PvP.

In your case, since your still using teir 2 equipment, theres really little choice. Get yourself an interceptor.
