you drop all your skills and pick up the smuggler alliance. you can't start off as one alliance and transfer your skill to anouther to master it.

Damn, that really sucks. Ok. Is there a thread here I cannot see with pilot trainer locations for RSF?

For you current Tier level it is almosta toss up as to wether you really want to do this. For one thing, you have an option to finish your current faction to Master. Then drop it. Once you drop a master pilot faction you get a mulitplier in xp to help you through your newly acquired faction. But, you must be a Master pilot of the previous faction before you can apply the multiplier. So, keep you current faction and master. Then, drop it and do your next faction.

All the pilot trainers for RSF are in theed Palace. To drop Pilot, simply Surrender a skill and you will be given directions on who to talk to and where.

You can't just straight surrender your skills. You need to talk to the Freelance pilot coordinator (sp) who's in Bestine I think. He should be marked on the map there. Just go talk to him and you'll have the option to drop you current pilot profession, then you can go join the smugglers.

Just saw this thread, and I was wondering, What is this about not needing the 7.5 mil. xp for Master? Never heard of that. I'm 4333, so I"M close enough to care. BTW, I'm Privateer, rebel aligned ( when I need faction, LOL). How do you train Master without it? If it's not oot hard ( either solo or with a few friends) I'll go ahead and grind the rest up to 4444, then Master and get my YT up and running, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to do this.

Yah, once you hit 4444 pilot, all you hafta do to get master is the 2 missions. Doesn't matter how much xp you have or dont have, once you kill the vette and go back to the person that gave you the mission, you get master pilot

Or do I have to do the space part of the quest as well?Answers much appreciated...
And just so you know, there is no *badge* for doing the JSF quest, you just get the deed.

Vander, I owe you man. I was trying to get all that XP before I trained up the last three 4th tier boxes, and finally gave up. Now I have hope. I will finish it now. Thanks. See me on Bria, holler, I owe you a drink in the Cantina of your choice ( I'd offer more, but unfortunately I'm at that point of broke caused by training high level profession boxes, LOL)

Drop pilot and you lose EVERYTHING. XP, skills, car-keys, half your socks (except the ugly ones with holes).
Basically you start pilot over.
As of now you don't have to do Vaders mission to fly the JSF. But it IS worth a TON of faction.
Why don't you just get the 2 Ace missions done and then switch. Then you get the XP bonus.
You DO know you don't really need the 7.5 million pilot XP to get master pilot right.

You will lose all your pilot xp and the ability to even manage the ships from the previous faction. You will need to remove all the equipment from the old faction ships and redeed them before dropping the old faction or face having to just delete them to make room.
