Thread: New Tier5 Duties- Full Writeup!

I tried two of them in the morning in my Vaksai, and didn't fare so well. I went back this afternoon in my Krayt, and here's the scoop on all three missions. They are in Live, the TC notes were to either retro-fit TC, or remind us that they are there for us to do.
Boy you guys wanted a challenge, here you go. Basic info, and the mission skinny, from easiest to hardest:
Basics: like the nooblet missions in Tatoo space, these are find the NPC and /comm them situations. Go to the location I list for each, and talk to the orbiting NPC to get the mission. Ah yes, you also need to have worked for the CPG, up to the point where the Special ship missions are offered, I think.
TrippBase SecurityChief, Tripp's Hunting Ground Station POI
Foe- Chiss
Pay-350 per ship, 1050 for the boss wave
This is versus Tier5 Khiraxz and Ixiyens for the most part. The Bosses are tier5 Novae. The general waves in this are the easiest, since the ships are similar, and the Ixyen's aren't so find of their rockets.
Sordaan base Security Chief, Sordaan's Hunting Station POI
Foe- Gotal
Pay- 300 per ship, 900 for the boss wave
This is slightly tougher, the foes are Scyks, Kimogilas and Novae in the general waves. The bosses are tier5 Novae again. Just my opinion, but the scyks are harder to hit, and the Kimos are fonder of their rockets, as well as dealing with turret fire and rockets fromt he Novae.
CPG Veteran, Kashyyyk Station
Foe-Ghrag
Pay- 675 per wave??
This is Khiraxz and Rhixyrk slightly easier than the Tripp mission. However the Boss waves are Tier5 Rebel Gunboats, just like in the Heavy ship missions that everyone tries to avoid if possible. I have only done through 1st boss on all these missions, but I cannot comprehend handling 5 of these at once.
Independent Slaver POI, NPC in a really sexy looking Awing.
Foe-Trandoshan Slavers
Pay-I forgot
This is a capture/escort/repeat Duty, wherein you catch slave ships heading to Avatar and bring them to the Independents. I forgot the pay per catch, ill put it in if I do another one, but I actually like this the best of all the missions. It is pretty quick wave after wave of tier5 Khiraxz. Nothing nasty in the first trip at least, just nice juicy fighters at a steady pace. Seems like an EXCELLENT grinding mission.
Practical Thoughts- Tomo, the pay for these missions is far too low!!! They don't compare to even the average tier4 Duty pay, and since the main reason an ace would want to do them is parts and money, I'm really not seeing it as worth my time to start doing these. I can face tier4s faster, earn more money, and get more parts. Also, the fact that all 3 take place in Kashyyyk a system known for lag issues, this will not be ultra popular in it's current state.
Tactical thoughts- dang these were fun! This may sound contradictory, but I do like the learning curve. It's a new deal to learn to handle looping chasing rocket pounding ships, and I loved it.

So these new duties you ar on about? where are they from? is it listed in these piles of patch notes i havent read?

thanks a lot, save me the trouble and component damage of finding out for myself 
wish you had posted an hour ago, before i got wasted by the gunboat boss of the CPG duty lol....and never went up against novae, being reb myself, but if they're as bad as decis then im stickin to my T4 duties too

Oh yeah i cant do the CPG (or whatever) around kash station as I answered truthfully to emya - they were weak and thin, to me. Hell, an ISD is a minutes work even thought the safe spot under the bridge has disappeared, and the corvette is just a chance to show of for me! I answered truthfully i get penalised - argh!

oh since i just did it right now ill tell you - its after you get the mission to destroy the weapons dealer, the mission that gives the ionic pulse weapon. At that point, emya sends you on to your faction station, and the kash station gets a new dialog option about "wanting a challenge" that directs you to the duties
Psiko, you didnt do the writeup for the Trando slaver duties? If there is duties there, I know Rian mentions they may have work for you

They are in the patch notes for TC, but they have been in Live since the launch of RotW. Since TC-prime is technically a different client version, this patch had a lot of "catch-up" notes for them. Don't know if they weren't turned onon TCor what, but they are active and on in Live.

Any clues for how to get the CPG Veteran duty missions?
I completed the Advanced X-Wing mission, and now get the "I'm looking for a challenge!" option. But after completing that dialogue, and being told to talk to the CPG Veteran, both the YT-1300 and the Firespray just tell me to keep up the good work.
Did I miss a step?

Saw them in the TC patch notes, but didnt think it was live .
Whats the loot like? Thats the main reason to farm anyway. What level of parts and what type are most common?

Yes, I did the same as you.
So this means I can't go further in the quest? Just doomed to the escort duty missions? Can't kiss and make up with the guy on the ground to move on? Really? Is this a bug or are we doomed now?!?!?!
