Thread: can I go imp on the ground to get the jsf ?

I'm a rebel ace and a reb on the ground,I was wondering if I changed my ground faction to imp would I be able to get the jsf quest and get the fighter to use as a rebel pilot?have any of you guys done this?

umm.....search mabey
and yes you can, but you have to give up rebel pilot when you go ground imp too, so be aware of that, and the bel22 is just the same as the JSF, and much easier to get

by all means ask pertinent questions regarding piloting on the pilot forum, but please consider using the search button next time, or looking in the stickied posts at the top of the forum, or even just looking at the topics on the first couple of pages to see whether your question has already been answered.

Although the mass is the same, the Bel-22 and the JSF are not the same. I put the same parts in each ship and found the JSF to perform much better.
Remember if you are Ace, and go Imp for JSF it only takes a day to get. You can go back Reb once Vader gives you the ship, no need to beat the space part of the mission. I've done this twice now.
TIP: Before you drop pilot buy a Heavy Z95, and trick it out! Then drop your Rebel status. When you get your ship and go back Reb you can use that Z95 with all it's Lvl 6, 7, and 8 components to zip thru the first 3 Tiers, and you get a huge XP boost as a former Ace!
