Does anyone else find it very odd that an awing cannot turn at low speeds in space? Hello it can out turn pretty much everything at high speeds but a YT/Nova/Deci can out turn it at low speeds.

Dev's we need another fix come on get to work. =)

Working as intended bro, check the ship chasis stats. At low speeds the "agile" ships drive like tanks. TIE Intercepter does the same thing with a 92/76ypr engine.

Slow = not enough thrust to turn all intense. A suggestion would be to feather your throttle at low speeds. Gives you a minor boost for turning. Though, AWings shouldn't spend much time going slow.

works fine, but it would be nice if there was a control to set the throttle to 75%, if there is one, i haven't found it yet

Hrmph. Didn't know this one exists. I've been using /throttle .75 (up to /throttle 1.00). It gives a message (I think) with (debug) in chat, so I assume it's a leftover from beta/whatnot.

Should be /setthrottle I know I've used that or it was the plain /throttle but havent seen any error type msg pop up.

But back on to my initial target.

The A wing should beable to make that sharp low speed turn also unless someone can prove to me why it shouldnt.

And I mean this in the term that using the same engine in both a A/B/X/Y wing or nova the A wing is the slowest turning at a low speed and this doesnt make sense.

lol The A-wing is one of the smallest ships in the game. It's extremely hard to hit and on top of that turns on a dime at top speed which is what you want. Slowing down = easier to hit. Which is the whole point of the A-wing light, small, quick and rarely takes a hit. Rebels have an extremely good fighter and you still arent happy? You cant have everything. The devs made it the way they intended. Freelancers have epulse, you have a-wings and imps get the tie advanced.
