Well I haven't seen a post about this topic so I thought I'd ask others to see what they thought. Im a ground imperial but am flying neutral for the RSF. Some of my imperial friends had their multiplayer ships first so Ive been up in their Decimator quite a few times. I could use their operations chair, but when I mastered and got my YT1300 I found that they couldn't do the same. To me it would seem that any Pilot should be able to sit in ops, as that person wouldn't have to shoot or fly, just use the implanted flight commands and his own special abilities like pirate trap or whatever.

My character is a covert Imperial on the ground, and is flying as a Privateer for the Smugglers Alliance. Still, he couldn't sit on the operations chair of a Nova although he had a mission to shoot Imperial ships (which followed with a mission to assault an Imperial Corvette), same as his group. An interesting thing is that there was absolutely no problem in being a gunner on the same ship.

2 quick comments about the Operations Chair in POB ships:
1. When you execute a droid command, you receive no feedback from the flight computer telling you the command was executed. The only way to verify the command happened is to try it again and get the messaqge you have to wait to run the next command. Would be nice to see the flight computer respond.
2. The Co-Pilot is unable to see the ship status using the V key. I would think monitoring ship's status would be an important part of operations.

I completely agree with this. Can we also get rid of those default red boxes with the question mark on them where the plasma alarms used to be? I find it ridiculous that in a live game, those would appear. This isn't Mario Brothers.
Also, a bit of a noob question, seeing as how I've soloed everything an imperial pilot can in space... What exactly does POB stand for? I mean I know they are multipassenger ships, but what does POB stand for?

I hope to see this and also the red question mark boxes are known as "default appearance" (read under the red ?). This means that either the game itself or your computer is not detecting the right appearance, there for placing the red box which is the default. I am not sure how to fix this just send a stick to csr and hope that the next patch will fix it. I get the same problem myself but after a nice restart of my computer or game it goes away sometimes. But anyways that is what the red box is there for.
