What are some of the best places to hunt good spawns of tier 5's (or tier 4's) for some good loot?

Deep Space is best second to that Kessel. However both are PVP areas. Deep Space your hard pressed to kill everything that spawns kessel on the other hand is alot more sparse

Kessel hasn't been a "PvP area" for months.

What about the best place to hunt black sun spawns to attempt at the helm?

deep space all the way

there are tones of mini-battles going on around the corvettes, there are many many gunboats of both flavours (forsome odd reason the GB's are all T4's! - they sorta line up in groups of 3-6, and after bit of practice, you can take out 6 imp GB's in3-5 minuts. of course be carefull because any mistakes is a fast ticket out )

there are always the main targets... (SD and staion)

seems to me the SD spawns nice size spawns of T5 ties afteryou destroy one or two of thesub components. Even for an Ace, it takes some fancy flying to not get killed by 8-10T5interceptors all flying at you in one direction...

also, u get the "get out of decay free" card , alway nice for them top components you have.

also the chance at PvP.

SO: in this pilots opinion, DS for teh win.

Deep space has the best TIE fighter AI's in the whole game. They freaking fly in formation as much as possible. You attack one, the rest will reform without that one and try to get you from behind. They manuever better than most players. And you have beautiful backdrops of large ships flying around.

yeah, it'd be nice if the rebel npc pilots weren't as stupid as the rebel players I've come across in deep space... it's craziness, really wish I could find some smart rebel npc's to do some fighting with.

Yep, Kessel would be the place to go for Tier5. I found a good spot of non aggro Tier5, so I can just pick one at a time.
