you know how on ground, under your name is your buff bar, listing your acive buffs......why not extend that to space to show your ships "buffs" (cap overload, reactor overload ect ect) and have a radial timer on the toolbar so you know at a glance when you can launch a new command.......just a few ideas i just had
NO less is more in hud clutter I would like a way to check on load out sheet/component sheet as to which are loaded though
Be nice if it showed on that ship status page, the "V" key I think.
There are a few clues though. Cap Overchage shows when the cap level is raised. Engine Overload when my speed kicks up, and somone pointed out the "Engine Efficiency" rating on the V screen - something like that - that shows up after running overload. Other than those, I have to check for decay on the reactor and weapons to see if those overloads ran.
What I want is a cooldown timer on overloads (or shield shunt) like we have on the ground.

You mean the animated clock-tick effect for the dirtside cooldowns?
I'm not sure I'd like that very much--we already have onscreen notification in form of a system message for when the droid commands have completed. I've just been figuring, "when my capacitor is back up to 850-900 charge, I'm just about ready to shunt again."
something like a chat bar, icons, stats, everything added into 1 compact HUD, almost like a cockpit view, and be able to close anything you dont need 0_0 too good of an idea. yes i know. oh please no need for applause, oh no please dont stand up, stormtroopers? here? Oh no! i've been shot!

/agree
I would like to be able to see which ones I have loaded but I don't want it on the hud... too much stuff on it as it is
