can someone post how many weapons slots it has the avarage mass . and is it worth between 8-12million when i can get a nova with loads of mass?
Your going to get a mixed response to this as some hate it some love it. heres my take.
1. is it any good? Its not bad. Its a mix between a fighter and a bomber. but with the newer RotW ships there are better ones out there that are cheaper and easier to get. (vaksai/Heavy X etc)
2. it has 2 gun slots and a few missile slots(check the pilot faq thread for exact stats.)
3. mass is around 210k-213.5k i believe.
4. the nova requires a crew of 3 or 4 to pilot and fight with it. the firespray requires 1.
5. it costs 8-12 million because of how SW's have to aquire the schematic disks and the fact the schematic is limited use even after aquiring one.
Do I like it? Not really i had one for a long long time and at first liked the fact it was a fighter/bomber hybrid but after a while i realised there were ships out there that better suited my flight style so i sold it on.
Dear Shipwrights, please stop blindly REing components in pursuit of an outdated and outmoded ship.
It's got pro's and con's really.
Pros:-
1. It looks rather cool and unique
2. It has a nice amount of mass
3. It has 2 missile slots so you can use it as a pretty effective gunship / vette killer.
4. It's a lot easier to fly than a b-wing.
Con's:-
1. The price.
2. It's heavy and takes a lot of practice to get used to.
3. It's huge, big target and impossible to fly in 3rd person mode.
4. It has less gun slots than a b-wing.
5. There are a lot of ROTW ships that can easy outfly and outdamage it if you dont know what you are doing.
Personally I love it but being a bounty hunter I'm probably biased.
I love my Firespray...I like itbetter than I do my Krayt.
Taking an Actis out in a turning battle is just icing on the cake.

as far as PvE it is ok... the krayt is better but for a rebel I would go with a b-wing
for PvP I wouldn't recomend it... it is a huge target and doesn't handle well enough to compete with other master ships and espcially the smaller ships. (there are exeptions to this... Adonis causes fear in the rebel ranks in his firespray)

With the increased power of POBs on TC, I think ships like the Firespray will be more important in PvP due to their ability to pack very powerful guns, shields, and armor.
I love my Firespray in PvE, and I've flown it more then a few times in PvP and done fairly well.
