OK, I played Beta and had no trouble at all with using a Joystick to pilot my ship. Now however, when I launch into space it does absolutely nothing. What am I missing here? If I remember right from Beta, I loaded the driver, plugged in the Joystick and started flying... with JtL do we need to enable it somehow?

My joystick worked both during beta, and after. I did nothing but install JTLS. I have a Logitec Extreme 3D Pro, although I don't think model/brand makes any difference in your problem.

for some reason or another my game randomly decides to not accept my joystick and force me to fly with my mouse. anyone know what causes it? i usually have to full quit out and unplug then plug in my joystick then load back in for it to let me fly with it. it's extremely annoying.
thanks!
thanks!

I've never had it happen to me and I have the same joystick (Logitech Wingman Extreme). The problems I usually have is that after my son is done with his games and using a gamepad I always forget to plug the Logitech back in. Apparently the game must query for joysticks on startup as plugging in a joystick mid flight will not cause it to register. In that case I have to land and relog.

There is an option in "options" on virtual-joystick (forces mouse), and we know how well our options stay where we put them, I would give it a look

Same thing happens to me, so when Im planning on piloting, I have to remember to plug in my stick before starting up.

It may be haveing lapses where it can not see your joy stick.. Check your connections.. dust? If all else fails try finding new drivers and such... if that fails.. try a new joy stick to make sure yours is not broken. Borrow one maby?

Well, I'm not having problems with not detecting joysticks, but when i turn right, the speed is much slower than if i turn left.
Any solutions for this?
Thanks.

hi all. i just bought a logitech extreme 3D pro joystick for jtL. Problem is, none of the buttons on it will bind to actions. the axes seem to bind, but none of the buttons. they seem to be recognized in windows and in logitech's software. anyone run into this problem or use the same stick?
